Features

Everything for your teaching week, in one place

Made for South African teachers, from Grade R to Grade 12.

Create

Every tool has its own form, so you get what you asked for: the right marks, time, question levels and language.

Lesson plans
Objectives, introduction, activities, differentiation and assessment for the lesson you’re preparing.
Worksheets and homework
Question types you choose, including diagram-based questions, with a memo.
Tests with memos
Total marks, time and the mix of cognitive levels; a learner copy without the memo.
Reading comprehension
A new passage at the right level, with questions across Barrett’s levels.
Games and quizzes
Word searches, bingo cards and quizzes, ready to print.
Rubrics, parent letters, report comments
The admin writing, done in a minute and in your own words after a quick edit.
Term plan and assessment plan
Every lesson of the term gets a CAPS topic; formal tasks and marking go on your calendar.
Planning for submission
Week or term planning as PDF or Word, with space for signatures.

Maths, science and diagrams

Documents look like a teacher made them, not a chatbot.

Proper maths
Fractions, powers, roots and chemical formulas, also in the Word download.
Diagrams
Number lines, fraction pictures, clocks, graphs, charts, shapes with measurements and labelled pictures.
Ready-made pictures
Plant cell, water cycle and more, in English or Afrikaans, also as “label the parts” versions.

Timetable and calendar

TeacherStudio knows your week, so it can tell you what’s next and what still needs preparing.

Timetable from a photo
Take a photo of your printed timetable, check it and save. Weekly timetables and Day 1–N cycles both work.
Prepare from a lesson
Tap a lesson, pick the date and create for it. “✓ 2 ready” shows what’s prepared.
School terms and holidays
South African school terms and public holidays are built in.
Missed lessons
Move the work one lesson on, combine it with the next lesson, or ask the assistant for a catch-up plan.
How did it go?
A short note after a lesson; the next lesson plan takes it into account.

Home, the assistant and reminders

Open the app in the morning and see what matters today.

What needs you
What’s not prepared, what’s overdue, what’s due today and the assessments this week, with one-tap actions.
The assistant
Type or hold to speak. It adds reminders, ticks things off and answers questions about your week.
Phone reminders
Choose when you want to be reminded for each item; the reminder arrives on your phone.

Your Library

Everything you make is saved, sorted by grade and subject.

Edit like a document
Change text, maths and diagrams as they look on the page.
Versions
Easier, harder, extra support, extension or Afrikaans versions, kept together with the original.
Your own files
Upload a PDF, Word document or photo and create new material from it.
Download and share
Word, PDF or WhatsApp; share a copy with a colleague by link.

Questions

Is it aligned with CAPS?

Yes. The tools follow the CAPS Annual Teaching Plans, and suggest the topic for the week you’re in. As with anything made by AI, check the content before you use it in class.

Can it create in Afrikaans?

Yes. Choose English or Afrikaans for any document, or make an Afrikaans version of something you already have. The website and the app’s menus are in English.

What does it cost?

It’s free during the beta. We’ll announce prices before the beta ends, and beta teachers will hear first.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. It runs in your phone’s browser; add it to your home screen and it opens like an app. It also works on a computer or tablet.

How do I join?

The beta is by invitation. If you have a code, create your account. If your school uses TeacherStudio, your school admin gives you a code.

Don’t have a code? Contact us on WhatsApp (076 628 9018) or email.
